World Champions - Silver Ferns Win Thriller

The Silver Ferns are 2019 Netball world champions. They have beaten Australia 52 to 51 to claim the Netball world championships. Australia were the hot favourites going into the competition. They had been the world champions since 2003. That means New Zealand has now won the title 5 times.

The match itself, as you would except, exciting. The Silver Ferns led 28-25 at half time and then by 4 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Australia fought back in the last quarter and won it by three goals but New Zealand did enough to stay in the game.

New Zealand captain, Casey Kopua said after the game. "It's all worth it when you have the belief nothing can stop you. I can't believe we've done it. It's not just for us it's for everyone in New Zealand."

Wood Works

I have chosen to make a Locomotive. I think this is the best choice for me because, I love trains and it will be a huge success if I complete it.

The locomotive will be used for having fun and also show my little brother, cousin's and many more.

Also I can do some experiments with it and too let some of my family members use my creation that I made such as my sister order brother. and many more family members.

For this project I will have to consider doing a locomotive because it's cool and also its a train but a bit different.

Helping The Environment

On Monday we went on a trip to our local river. We were given a partner my partner was Echo We found out that all the rubbish that had been in the river was going out to the beach.

They gave some people buckets so we could pick up rubbish that had been left there. After that me and Echo had to go further to look for some more rubbish to pick up.

When we finished doing one area we went to another were we tried to look for more rubbish and we found a playground and we all ate our lunch there.
When we were done eating our lunch we had time to play on the playground then after that we all went back to school.
